’THE SISTER OF SHRI KRISHNA AND SHRI BALARAMA’
She, who is the Adi Shakti and who has several of Her manifestations symbolising different aspects of Her Divine Nature.
Through Her various beautiful forms, She is worshipped as the Dispenser of boons, or Dispeller of fear, or as a Protector in times of grave danger to the society, as the Power of destruction, or as the Giver of Moksha from the cycles of Birth and Death.
She is worshipped in all Her forms.
She alone exists in Her Existence.
She who is the Nimitha OR Cause of Being Shri Krishna’s sister.
Hence the name, Subhadra.
