She is the entire consciousness Herself.
She endows Her sadhaka with a great mind.
A great mind is one which is detached from material greed and from attachment to people.
A great mind is which balances the material and spiritual aspects, leading further to non-attachment and developing the power of discrimination.
A great mind is which is not influenced by others’ words or karma and prods one to focus on the eternal, rather than transient.
She is the giver of these attributes.
She will bestow this gift to the one who surrenders to Her will and will see Her in every action and inaction of his life.
Hence the name, Mahati.
