‘SHE WHO HAS THREE EYES’
Symbolically, Her left eye represents the Moon (Desires)
Her right eye represents the Sun (Right Action) and
Her third eye represents the Knowledge or Fire which will consume all ignorance.
She, whose third eye is also the eye of higher consciousness; symbolizing non-dualistic thinking.
She whose third eye will cleanse all the karmas of sadhaka, freeing him from this mortal life of desires and actions, and merging into Her.
Hence the name, Trilochana.
