The One who projects illusions of incredible Depth, sometimes trapping, sometimes liberating a Jiva.
It is said she plays illusion, playing specific karmic projections to a sadhak, forcing him to live through karmic debts for incredible progress in sadhana. A Kali sadhak loses freewill, as she paves the path towards liberation placing the perfect karmic path way.
Hence the name, MAYA.
