‘SHE WHO IS THE BOAR OF SACRFICE’
She who is the Shakti of Shri Vishnu’s Varaha avatar.
She is also known as the Bhu Devi – Mother of Earth/ earth element.
Of all her weapons, the plough is symbolic of ploughing a sadhakas mind and making it fertile for germination of seeds of knowledge. While Her Danda is used to destroy all the distractions of a sadhaka.
She is the bestower of inner strength, courage and confidence.
Hence the name Varahi.
