She who blooms like a lotus, rising above all the mud (attachments) of the Samsara.
The lotus is a symbol for rebirth, transcendence and the Divine.
In some Tantric and Yogic traditions, the Lotus, symbolizes expanding consciousness and the potential to harness energy in the chakras.
She is that Energy.
She is that transcendence.
She is the rebirth that a Sadhaka takes from living a life through ego to a life of devotion, surrendering the self-identification into Her Divine State.
And hence the name Kamala.
