The Sadhaka of Maa Adya Kali must always remember the ‘concept’ or ‘feeling’ of victory or being victorious is empowered and granted by Maa Adya. To her, every sincere sadhak is like Shri Rama, and she grants them ability to win over their Ravana.
It is she who grooms the winners, and keeps them victorious in the most difficult and inperceivable conditions. This is why Maa Kali was always invoked before battle, for ages.
Hence the name, VIjaya.
