Maa Kali is rightly called ‘Maa’ or ‘Amma’, because one of her names is MAHA KUTA.
The Greatest Bosom, the Mother Goddess feeds the whole of the creation from her most potent bosom of life giving and nurturing SAKTHI, those in her sadhana are favoured with more Prana. It is only the crying baby that is fed, and those that cry out her Nama Japa, gain the highest Prana from the MahaKuta.
Like a new born that fattens on the mother’s milk, gaining all the needed nutrition and immunity from all things ungainly.
The entire creation is nurtured by the MAHAKUTA, that is MAA KALI.
Hence she is the ultimate form of the DIVINE MOTHER,
ADI SAKTHI.
Hence the name, MahaKuta
